urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:cutoffaddict cutoffaddict cutoffaddict 2007-12-10T04:11:44Z urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:cutoffaddict:928 2007-12-10T04:10:38Z 2007-12-10T04:11:44Z Well, the past week or so have been eventful to say the least.<br /><br />Let's start with medically: I'm apparently due for a minimum of twelve weeks of physiotherapy because of my knee.&nbsp; My patella wiggles around when I bend it, so the doc wants to recondition it before it blows out on me.&nbsp; Yay! :(<br /><br />Also, I managed to gouge a chunk out of my finger using only a turned-off electric motor.&nbsp; Fun, fun!<br /><br />On the bright side, which is always better to look at: my daughter now has five teeth!!!; and my son is definitely understanding much more of the French I speak to him.&nbsp; He won't respond to me en français, mais il me comprend!!! urn:lj:livejournal.com:atom1:cutoffaddict:681 2007-11-12T04:21:37Z 2007-12-10T03:45:10Z Okay, so I'm new here, and haven't got much of a clue what livejournal's all about, other than that it's a relatively anonymous way to vent and explore new things.&nbsp; Basically my life's a bit stressful at times and I need a place to blow off some steam and/or relax without hurting or offending anyone, and my life's also a bit dull at times and I'm looking for a way to spice it up, again without hurting or offending anyone.<br /><br />Bit about me: happily married father of two beautiful kids (often wonder about that phrase... you know, would I be the father of anything but children? but it doesn't really sound right to just say, "happily married father of two beautiful")&nbsp; Carpenter.&nbsp; Proudly Canadian.&nbsp; Interested in things wonky and wierd.&nbsp; History buff.<br /><br />Looking for: good chat, friends from around the world, whatever.<br /><br />Cheers
